Manufacturer — Sika

The floor under the floor.

Sika is a worldwide innovation and sustainability leader in construction systems, and the Level line is its floor-preparation discipline: primers, patches, self-levelers, and finishing compounds that decide how well everything above them performs. No finished floor outruns its substrate — this is the chemistry that makes the substrate worth building on.

01 — Bonding

It bonds to nearly everything.

SikaBond construction adhesive takes cement-based materials, brick, ceramics, glass, metals, and wood in stride. It cures fast, and once cured it is waterproof and water-immersible — wet rooms included. The chemistry is water-based and solvent-free, which matters in occupied buildings.

Water-based chemistry, suited to occupied buildings.

The patching range of Level-025, feather to half an inch.

04

Self-leveling

Level-425 pours highly fluid and finds its own surface.

02 — Priming

Prime before you pour.

Two primers cover the two situations. Level-01 Primer Plus penetrates the substrate to shut down outgassing — the bubbles that ruin an underlayment — while preventing water loss from the pour into the slab. Level-02 EZ Primer is the ready-to-use case: no dilution, quick dry, straight onto concrete or plywood.

Documentation

Documented at the source.

Product and safety data sheets for the Level line are published and maintained by Sika. Your account executive supplies the current versions, matched to your substrate conditions and formatted for your spec sections.

Flat floors are specified, not hoped for.

03 — Leveling & patching

From a feather to half an inch.

Level-025 Patch levels and smooths substrates before the floor covering arrives, patching from 1/16 inch up to 1/2 inch. Level-425 is the highly fluid self-leveler — poured across new floors or renovations, interior only, it finds its own surface and holds it.

04 — Finishing

The finish coat under the finish floor.

Level SkimCoat is the fast-setting, cement-based smoothing and finishing compound that closes the sequence — easy to prepare, quick to apply, and adherent to substrates, subfloors, and even stable adhesive residue left by the floor that came out.
