Product Line — Texas Granite® Solid Vinyl Tile
The color goes all the way down.
Solid vinyl tile is the specification for rooms that punish their floors. American Biltrite’s Texas Granite carries its color through the full thickness of the tile — no printed layer to wear away — with a no-wax finish, micro-ground edges that read as one surface, and static-control versions for the rooms that ask for them.
Texas Granite in a healthcare waiting area — the color runs through the body of the tile, and wax never enters the maintenance schedule.
01 — The Palette
The full range, in one view.
Thirty current colorways, from neutral grays and beiges through full saturation. The fleck runs the full depth of the tile, so the color specified at the surface is the color that wears.

The Customizer
Build a colorway that isn’t on this page.
MyTexasGranite is American Biltrite’s own design tool. Start from any of the thirty above to coordinate a duo or trio, or build a tile from scratch — a 27-color base with two accent chips drawn from 54 shades, grouped by hue family. Save the result as a JPEG and drop it straight into a rendering.
Your account executive is happy to work a combination through with you as well — and will confirm it before it goes into a specification.

02 — Texas Granite
The workhorse, up close.
Texas Granite is solid vinyl in the literal sense — fleck and color run the full depth of the tile, so wear only reveals more of the same floor. A micro-ground edge closes the joints into a near-seamless field, rated for the rolling and static loads of hospitals and schools.
Under diagnostic equipment, point loads write the brief — solid vinyl carries them without indentation.
Bed traffic, cart traffic and daily cleaning on one tile — the no-wax surface keeps the maintenance line short.
No-wax finish
The surface is the finish — no stripping and recoating cycle in the maintenance budget.
Load rated
High compressive ratings for static and rolling loads, tested to ASTM standards.
Ground edges
Micro-ground edges close the field into a near-seamless surface without welding.
Warranted
Limited commercial warranty across the solid vinyl range.

03 — Where It Serves
Corridors, cafeterias, clinics.
The rooms that specify solid vinyl are the ones that never close — school cafeterias turning over three services a day, hospital corridors under wheeled loads around the clock, locker rooms taking water and school colors in equal measure.
Texas Granite is on the floor at Advent Health, Lakeland Regional and Palmer Hospital, and in school districts across Florida and New England.
Three services a day on one tile — spill-tolerant, fast to clean and never in line for the buffer.
Water, impact and team colors — the palette reaches full saturation where schools want it.
Static Control
The conductive option.
Electrotile ESD versions meet static-dissipative and conductive requirements — specified for imaging suites, laboratories and electronics environments without changing the look of the field.
The color is the wear layer — there is nothing on top to lose.
04 — Custom & Identity
When the floor carries the crest.
Because the color runs through the tile, Texas Granite cuts and inlays cleanly — crests, wayfinding bands and brand color set into the floor itself rather than applied on top of it. Custom color designs are available beyond the standard range.
A bulldog set into the floor in school colors — an inlay made to be walked on for decades.
05 — Static Control
Two electrical grades, one body.
Where a room needs a rated path to ground, Electrotile carries the same solid vinyl body in static-dissipative and conductive grades — specified by grade, then by color.

06 — In Service
Where the whole school walks through.
A K–8 academy main office in Miami-Dade County, Florida — reception, waiting area, and the room every parent and every visitor crosses on the way in. Texas Granite specified through Yorkshore, running wall to wall and holding its gloss on a wax-free maintenance program.
Reception and waiting area. The gloss comes off the tile itself; the maintenance program keeps it there without wax.
Fleck through the full depth of the tile rather than a printed layer — wear takes you further into the same floor, and the gloss comes off the material rather than a coating.
