Every finish floor inherits the slab beneath it. Yorkshore carries the preparation systems — Baseking’s EnviroSTIX adhesives, Sika’s primers and levelers, Schönox smoothing compounds — so the substrate arrives at installation day flat, dry, and ready to hold a bond for the life of the floor.

01 — The Discipline
The finish is only as good as the slab.
Moisture, flatness and bond are decided before the first carton is opened. Yorkshore treats preparation as part of the flooring package — one dedicated account executive carrying the system from primer to adhesive, matched to the substrate the site actually has.
What preparation buys: the material rolls out and the room returns to service the same day.
The machine-applied spread arrives on the material — uniform coverage, no trowel marks.
Same-day access
EnviroSTIX peel-and-bond systems carry no cure time — rooms return to service the day the floor goes down.
Near-zero VOC
ES-2-GO measures 0 g/L of an allowable 50 — specifiable in occupied buildings.
Patch from 1/16″
SikaLevel-025 levels and smooths concrete and plywood substrates ahead of the covering.
Featheredge to 6 mm
Schönox SL smooths from a featheredge up to 6 mm, and to 20 mm in spots.
02 — Adhesive Systems
The bond arrives pre-applied.
Baseking’s EnviroSTIX family machine-applies the adhesive to the backing of the material itself — a uniform spread with no trowel marks, aggressive bond strength, immediate access. ES-100 and EnviroSTIX Classic pair a pH-neutralizing roll-on primer with peel-and-bond installation and high-humidity moisture resistance; ES-2-GO pre-applies in the warehouse or on site; ES-Cushion and ES-Barrier add acoustic and moisture layers beneath, and the systems install over existing VCT and other non-porous substrates.
The acoustic underlayment — coated one side or double-bonded with EnviroSTIX adhesive.

03 — Leveling & Patching
Sika, from primer to pour.
The cement-based line runs the full sequence: Level-01 Primer Plus and Level-02 EZ prepare the substrate, Level-025 patches from a sixteenth of an inch, Level-425 pours as a highly fluid self-leveler for new and renovated floors, and Level SkimCoat closes the surface. SikaBond construction adhesive holds on cement-based materials, brick, ceramics, glass, metal and wood — waterproof once cured.

04 — Smoothing & Finishing
Schönox finishes the last millimeter.
SL and ZM are the smoothing compounds — rapid-drying, very low emission, rated for chip board, mastic asphalt screeds and other critical substrates. APF self-levels over gypsum and OSB. HPS 92 is the acrylic adhesive that closes the system, bonding resilient tile and plank to the finished surface.
