Vidir’s hospital bed storage solution transforms wasted space into valuable capacity, helping facilities maximize efficiency, safety, and patient care. By vertically stacking unused beds, hospitals reclaim floor space, eliminate clutter in hallways, and create room for essential operations. The simple push-button system allows one operator to quickly retrieve any bed, reducing delays and ensuring patients have access to care faster. At the same time, hospitals enhance compliance by keeping corridors clear, meeting JCAHO standards, and reducing fire hazards—all while improving organization and operational flow. The result is a smarter, safer, and more efficient storage system that turns bed management into a powerful advantage.

Vidir’s Hospital Bed Storage System: Maximize Space and Efficiency
Vidir’s Hospital Bed Storage System is designed to optimize hospital space by utilizing previously unused vertical areas to store beds, offering a cost-effective and practical solution for managing hospital bed inventory. By vertically stacking beds, hospitals can save valuable floor space, transforming cluttered hospital storage rooms into organized, efficient storage areas.
This innovative system improves both safety and accessibility by eliminating potential fire hazards caused by beds stored in corridors. With beds readily available and easily retrievable, patient care is streamlined, and space is freed for other critical operations, making it an essential component of modern hospital storage solutions.
Additionally, by removing unused ‘hallway beds’ from the corridors, hospitals will meet JCAHO standards for storing hospital beds and not risk further fines or, worse, the loss of accreditation.
Product Advantages
Maximize Bed Storage capacity
Vidir’s hospital bed storage solution significantly increases the storage capacity of your facility. By vertically stacking beds, the system recovers floor space that is often wasted in traditional hospital storage rooms or corridors. This space-saving design allows hospitals to store more beds in a single location, freeing up areas for other important functions and reducing clutter in hospital storage rooms and public spaces.
Boost Efficiency and Organization
Vidir’s hospital bed storage solutions improve operational efficiency by reducing the time and effort required to retrieve beds. A single operator can quickly and easily access any bed using a simple push-button system, which follows the Last In, First Out (LIFO) picking method. This streamlined process improves the flow of beds, allowing hospitals to increase the number of available beds and reduce patient wait times.
Enhance Health and Safety Compliance
With this bed storage system, hospitals can meet JCAHO standards by safely removing unused beds from hallways and corridors. In doing so, they eliminate fire hazards and comply with safety regulations, minimizing the risk of fines or loss of accreditation. This system is an essential part of maintaining safe and compliant hospital storage practices, while simultaneously improving organization and operational flow.

Model Bedlift Series
Bedlift-R
The R Series (Regular Duty) Bedlift is designed to accept 80-90% of all hospital beds with a vertical pitch of 27″ | 686mm and a capacity of 600 lbs. | 272 kg per position. This unit loads from the front.

Bedlift-X
The X Series (Extra Capacity) Bedlift is designed to accept the remaining 10-20% of beds with a larger vertical pitch of 33″ | 838mm and a capacity of 900 lbs. | 408 kg per position. This unit loads from the front.
Bedlift-S
The S Series (Side Load) Bedlift is designed to load using the width of the bed, requiring less florr space for unloading. This is for spaces with a unique profile and space constraints. This unit loads from the side.

Criblift-C
The C Series (Crib) Criblift is designed specifically for hospital cribs up to 600 lbs. | 272 kg. This unit loads from the front.
