Overview
Schönox APF is a synthetic gypsum self-leveler with the reinforcement already in the bag: embedded synthetic fibres do the work of a reinforcing mat over wood floor boards, chipboard, screwed OSB, mastic asphalt screeds and other critical substrates, under resilient and textile coverings in interior areas.
It works from 3 to 15 mm, mixes with 5.5 L of water per 25 kg sack, has a pot life of about 30 minutes at 18 °C and takes foot traffic after roughly 3 hours; coverings go down after about 24 hours at 3 mm, parquet after 48 hours, with residual moisture checked by CM meter on thicker layers. Consumption is about 1.5 kg/m² per mm. APF contains no Portland cement, is rated A1/A1fl, licensed EMICODE EC1 PLUS, suits subfloor heating and castor wheels, and carries an environmental product declaration.
