About Alarwool
Alarwool is a family-owned mill in Spain that has woven wool carpet since the 1950s and produces around 450,000 square meters a year. Every carpet is woven from pure new wool in one of three constructions: Axminster for pattern-rich multi-color designs in ballrooms, corridors and gaming floors; flatweave for a tighter, lower-profile surface in contemporary offices and meeting floors; and hand-tufted rugs and broadloom for reception areas and suites. Designs are fully bespoke, drawn by the mill's in-house studio and approved as a woven strike-off before the full run. Installations include InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown, DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphia, Six Senses Whitleys London and Belmond's Eastern & Oriental Express.
