Overview
ES-Cushion is a synthetic rubber carpet-tile cushion that arrives with EnviroSTIX adhesive already on it, coated one side or double-bonded, so the acoustic layer and the bond go down as one roll. At 0.156 in. thick and 33 lb/ft³ density it is classed for extra-heavy traffic and tested to IIC 65 (ASTM E492), ΔIIC 32, STC 52 and an NRC of 0.30, isolating footfall before it reaches the slab below.
A StainSTOP moisture barrier keeps spills from the subfloor, Guardian antimicrobial treatment inhibits mold and mildew, and the product is CRI Green Label Plus certified. Rolls are 54 in. wide; the specification guide lists both a 30 ft product length and a 135 ft roll, so confirm the format with your account executive. ES-Cushion carries a 10-year limited warranty and is also offered in a MAX version.
