Overview

Sika Level SkimCoat is the fast-setting, cement-based smoothing and finishing compound that closes the Level sequence, the finish coat under the finish floor. It is easy to prepare and quick to apply, and adheres to substrates, subfloors and even the stable adhesive residue left behind by the floor that came out, so it repairs and smooths before the new covering goes down.

In Yorkshore's four-step sequence it is step four: prime with Level-01 Primer Plus or Level-02 EZ, patch with Level-025, pour Level-425, skim with Level SkimCoat. Sika publishes the technical data sheet and fact sheet linked below; thickness range, set time, compressive strength and coverage are stated there rather than on yorkshore.com. Your account executive supplies the current sheets with the system recommendation for your substrate.
