Next Step High Impact
Recycled rubber fitness tile, 8 to 12 mm standard, for free-weight and functional training floors
Heavy-duty recycled rubber tile with impact backing to 22 mm for powerlifting and drop zones
Availability and lead times are confirmed by your Yorkshore representative.
Next Step Extreme is the heavy-duty member of Dinoflex's Next Step range, built for the floors that take the most repeated impact: powerlifting platforms, squat racks and dedicated drop zones. The construction is the same laminated recycled rubber tile as High Impact, with an EPDM colour top layer over a regrind backing, but the backing is taken up to an impact build of 22 mm, a 6 mm colour layer over 16 mm of regrind.
Tiles are supplied as 38 × 38 in square edge for glue-down or 37 × 37 in interlocking for loose lay, in the same colour blends as High Impact. The specification guide reports a Taber abrasion loss of 0.1 g, impact sound transmission of IIC 59 at 8 mm, and FloorScore certification under SCS-FS-02144.
Yorkshore pairs it with Stride Fitness Tiles for lifting zones and Next Step High Impact for the lighter areas around them. Installation and maintenance guides for both edge finishes are linked below.
Suitability depends on configuration, substrate, installation and maintenance. Confirm project-specific requirements with a specialist.
