Overview

Armor-X pairs a polyurethane wear layer with Dinoflex recycled rubber backings, for high-traffic rooms that need the resilience of rubber with a non-porous, easy-clean surface. Dinoflex describes the wear layer as self-healing: indentations from pressure points and rolling loads recover instead of remaining in the floor.

The standard formulation has a 2 mm wear layer, with backings that bring total thickness to 6, 8, 10 or 12 mm, in square-edge glue-down tiles (38 × 38 in) or interlocking loose-lay tiles (37 × 37 in). A skate formulation with a 3 mm wear layer is offered in square edge at 8, 10 and 12 mm.

The manufacturer states that the surface is impervious to most liquids, resists staining from harsh chemicals and dyes, and absorbs impact for comfort underfoot. Armor-X is described as low VOC and halogen-free, and as FloorScore certified.
