Overview

Alarwool Flatweave is a tighter, flatter woven wool construction with a lower profile than Axminster, made for contemporary interiors where a plush pile would say too much: offices, meeting floors and transitional commercial spaces. It is woven in pure new wool at Alarwool's family-owned mill in Spain, which has produced woven carpet since the 1950s and weaves around 450,000 m² a year.

Like every Alarwool carpet it is fully bespoke. The in-house design studio draws the geometry and colourways to the project, a woven strike-off is approved in hand before the full run, and the carpet is delivered to site for your flooring contractor to lay. Alarwool publishes no standard widths, pile weights or fire certificates on yorkshore.com; these are quoted per project by your account executive, who carries the job from brief to walkthrough.
