7.5 in wire-brushed engineered European oak with a 3 mm wear layer, five colorways, FloorScore certified
Availability and lead times are confirmed by your Yorkshore representative.
Southport is a 7.5 in engineered European oak plank from BuildDirect's core collection, with a 3 mm real-wood wear layer on a ply core and an overall thickness of 0.55 in. Lengths run 23.5 in to 75.2 in, averaging 57.8 in.
Five colorways are stocked: Rich Roast, Barn Yard, Seashore, Zinfandel and Snow Cloud. Each is wire-brushed and prefinished in low-gloss urethane with microbevel edges, so there is no site sanding or cure time. Wood varies board to board and screen color is indicative only; judge it against a full-size sample before documents close.
The profile is tongue and groove; BuildDirect lists Southport for below-grade installation and for electric and hydronic radiant heat. The line is FloorScore certified for indoor air quality and carries a lifetime residential and 5-year commercial warranty as published by BuildDirect. Where a thicker face is needed, Oak Superior carries a 4 mm wear layer on the same 7.5 in width.
Suitability depends on configuration, substrate, installation and maintenance. Confirm project-specific requirements with a specialist.
