Overview

Oak Superior is a 7.5 in engineered oak plank from BuildDirect's core hardwood program, supplied and specified through Yorkshore. A 4 mm real-wood wear layer sits on a ply core, 0.59 in overall; the thicker the face, the longer the floor lasts in hard-used rooms. Planks run 23.62 in to 75.19 in long, averaging 59.0 in.

Two colorways are stocked, Taupe and Marcel, both wire-brushed and prefinished in low-gloss urethane with micro-bevel edges, so there is no site sanding or cure time. BuildDirect lists the species as European oak and white oak. Wood is a natural material and screen color is indicative only, so judge it against a full-size board before documents close.
