MSK researchers have led the way in developing new ways to diagnose and treat cancer, with more than 120 research labs that are focused on better understaning every type of disease. The Cercadillo Project is a non-profit ministry which seeks to meet basic needs in the village of Cercadillo, Dominican Republic while sharing the love of Jesus. The American Cancer Society is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. Their regional and local offices stretch throughout the country to ensure they have a presence in every community. The American Heart Association is a non-profit organization in the United States that fosters appropriate cardiac care in an effort to reduce disability and deaths caused by cardiovascular disease and stroke. Good Shepherd Food Bank is the largest hunger relief organization in Maine, providing surplus and purchased food to more than 400 non-profit organizations throughout the state. York Public Library is located on Long Sands Road and has been a staple in the York community since opening. Yorkshore is proud to support in renovating library spaces, supporting youth activities, and adult events. Florida Hospital is one of America\'s largest not-for-profit health care systems with 23 campuses serving communities throughout Florida. Special Olympics Maine\'s mission is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness and experience joy. The Raining Season strives to provide a hopeful future and seek justice for vulnerable children in Sierra Leone, in an effort to raise up a new generation, that will in turn bring hope for generations to come. Boys & Girls Clubs of America is a national organization of local chapters which provide after-school programs for young people. York Hospital is a not-for-profit 79-bed hospital located on the southern coast of Maine. A modern facility with excellent medical/surgical units, an outstanding emergent care center, innovative breast care program, and extensive inpatient and outpatient services. Mountain of Hope provides healthcare, clean water, and Bible school in Honduras. Exeter High School is located in Exeter, New Hampshire and is administered by the Exeter Region Cooperative School District, which serves the towns of Brentwood, Exeter, East Kingston, Kensington, Newfields, and Stratham.
