The striated look of carpet tile, on a luxury vinyl floor.
Sonata Elements is a 2.5 mm luxury vinyl tile with a 20 mil wear layer, carrying a dimensional textile visual drawn from modular carpet. Five neutral base tiles each come with a tone-on-tone accent and a chromatic accent, and all fifteen share one 18″ × 36″ format — so a field, a route and a zone can be laid from a single specification.

Read each column top to bottom and it is one family: the base tile, then the same base carried into a tone-on-tone gradient, then the same base with a chromatic gradient — Blue, Red, Turquoise, Burgundy or Green. The five bases run from cool to warm: Light Grey, Medium Grey, Dark Grey, Beige and Cocoa.
Every tile is finished matte with a light emboss and a straight edge, and carries an aluminum oxide polyurethane surface treatment for scratch and stain resistance and a no-wax maintenance routine.

02 — Pattern & wayfinding
Corridors, zones and thresholds, drawn in the floor itself.
Because the three tiles share a size, a gauge and a construction, they can be mixed freely or laid monolithically. The pattern becomes a drawing decision rather than a materials decision — one product, one adhesive, one maintenance routine across the whole plate.
Monolithic
The A tile alone gives a calm, even field across an open office, a classroom wing or a reception.
Banded
A line of B or C tiles marks the center of a corridor or the route from the entrance to the front desk.
Zoned
Moving between base colors separates a waiting area from circulation while the floor stays one continuous surface.
Coordinated
Sonata Elements coordinates with Sonata Wood plank and Sonata Stone tile, on the same 2.5 mm gauge and 20 mil wear layer. See the Sonata palettes →

How a patterned floor gets specified
From a layout on the plan to a floor that matches it.
Choose the field
The base color covers most of the floor, so it is chosen first, against the wall finishes, the furniture and the light in the room.
See it at full size
Color samples are available as the full 18″ × 36″ tile, so the gradient in a B or C tile reads at the scale it will be laid.
Set the sequence
Adhesive selection, subfloor preparation and moisture conditions are agreed with the commercial flooring contractor the project already works with.
Submit and sign off
The documents that travel with the submittal are the manufacturer’s own current files, so what is approved is what arrives on site.
